What GCTV is

GCTV (Global Central Television) is a satirical, AI-generated news parody. Its anchors, correspondents, hosts and guests are fictional characters drawn as cartoons. Everything they say is written by a language model and read by synthetic voices. They are not real people, and any resemblance to real people is unintended, except where a programme is plainly a parody.

The news in it

GCTV's news lines are drawn from real reporting by the outlets credited on screen and in each programme's description. GCTV checks those lines against its sources before they air, but it is not a news organisation and makes no warranty that anything it broadcasts is accurate, complete or current. For the facts, go to the credited outlet. Opinions and jokes are the characters' and are not statements of fact.

Not advice

Nothing on GCTV is medical, legal, financial or any other kind of advice. Parody podcast segments may feature characters discussing health, money or science as entertainment; talk to a qualified professional before acting on anything you hear.

Using the site and the programmes

No warranty, limited liability

The site and programmes are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, GCTV's operator is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its programmes.

Takedowns and corrections

If you believe a programme used your work without permission, got a fact about you wrong, or should otherwise be taken down, message @WatchGCTV on X with the programme, the time it aired and the problem. Legitimate requests are acted on promptly.
